The turnkey stay

On 10 September 2026, in the middle of New York Fashion Week, the Kering Foundation sets its tables for the fifth time around the marble basin of The Pool, the former Four Seasons dining room designed by Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson at the heart of the Seagram Building. Around Salma Hayek Pinault and François-Henri Pinault, the Caring for Women dinner brings together cinema, fashion and philanthropy in support of the fight against violence against women — the 2025 edition, co-chaired by Julianne Moore, Demi Moore, Jessica Chastain and Madonna among others, raised more than 4.5 million dollars. An evening you do not simply attend: one you are invited to.

Where to stay

• Lotte New York Palace — The palace hotel closest to the Seagram Building: three short blocks, five minutes on foot between Madison Avenue and The Pool. Behind the landmarked courtyards of the Villard Mansion (1884), Towers suites facing St. Patrick's Cathedral, valet service and the Rarities bar for a last drink on the way back from dinner.
• The St. Regis New York — The address founded by John Jacob Astor IV on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street, less than ten minutes' walk from The Pool. Butler service on every floor, the King Cole Bar — birthplace of the Bloody Mary — and Beaux-Arts salons: the place to get ready before crossing over to Park Avenue.

Where to dine

• Le Bernardin — Chef Éric Ripert has held three Michelin stars here without interruption since the guide's first New York edition in 2005. A cathedral of fish at 155 West 51st Street, some ten minutes from the Seagram Building — the ideal French lunch the day before or the day after the Kering dinner.
• The Grill — In the same Seagram Building as The Pool, the twin room signed by Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson: the only landmarked dining rooms in the United States, according to the house. The Major Food Group of Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick revives the New York chophouse of the 1950s here, prime rib carved tableside from the trolley — the institution that succeeded the Four Seasons.

What to experience

• Transfert hélicoptère BLADE — Reaching Manhattan from JFK in a few minutes of flight instead of an hour in traffic, with dedicated lounges to match (West 30th Street and East 34th Street heliports). Seats on demand or private charter — the way to land in the city befitting the evening ahead.
