Life Cycles: An Amanzoe Exhibition
Amanzoe, Aman's white sanctuary perched above Porto Heli, hosts a season-long exhibition conceived with the Athenian gallery Zoumboulakis. Life Cycles brings several generations of leading Greek women artists into dialogue throughout the resort's spaces. An interlude of contemporary art at the heart of the Greek jet set's most discreet enclave, that of the villas and yachts of the Argolid.

The turnkey stay
From May 22 to October 31, 2026, Amanzoe turns its contemporary acropolis in the hills of Kranidi into an open-air gallery: Life Cycles unfolds sculptures and drawings by four Greek women artists — Marina Karella, Alexandra Athanassiades, Nikomachi Karakostanoglou and Despina Flessa — along the colonnades, in the lavender gardens, in the library and on its terrace, and by the pool. Conceived with Zoumboulakis Galleries, the Athenian house, the exhibition brings the generations into dialogue around continuity, evolution and the eternal. Two "Meet the Artist" gatherings remain this season: Nikomachi Karakostanoglou on Wednesday, September 2, from 4 pm to 8 pm, and Despina Flessa on Wednesday, October 7, from 4 pm to 8 pm, facing the Aegean Sea.
Where to stay
- Amanzoe — The very site of the exhibition: pavilions, beach pavilions and villas set on a hill above Porto Heli, in the Kranidi hinterland. The works of Life Cycles inhabit its colonnades, lavender gardens, library and terrace, and the areas around the pool. The 2,850 m² Aman Spa adds seven treatment suites, a hammam, sauna, cold plunge, Watsu pool, yoga pavilion, Pilates studio and two floodlit tennis courts; a private Beach Club completes the whole, and the Bostani restaurant serves dinner beneath a great olive tree.
- Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Porto Heli — A seaside address on the Greek Riviera, in Porto Heli itself, in the Argolid — a short drive from the Amanzoe hill. 66 rooms and suites plus six villas and bungalows, the brand's signature beach club, the Idolo spa blending ancient Greek massages with Greek products, and the Qurio rooftop for sunsets.
Where to dine
- Orloff — A Spetses institution, established since 1991 in the neoclassical building that housed the island's first harbourmaster's office in 1802, at the entrance to the Old Harbour. The house highlights its terrace, which it describes as the most seductive on the island. No Michelin star. Seasonal hours: dinner service every evening from June to September, reduced opening in April-May and October; reservations at +30 22980 75255. From Porto Heli, the crossing to Spetses takes about fifteen minutes by boat.
- Patralis — A historic fish taverna on Spetses, founded in 1935 by "barba Panos", a fisherman, and run today by his son Vassilis and his grandsons Argyris and Nikos — three generations in the Kounoupitsa quarter. Catch of the day and seafood. No Michelin star. Open from noon to midnight, but closed in November and December. About fifteen minutes by boat from Porto Heli.

- Arrivée en hélicoptère à Amanzoe — A 25-minute flight from Athens International Airport, where the road takes around 2.5 hours: arriving by helicopter lets you land on the hill in the morning and stroll through Life Cycles that very afternoon, before a first dinner beneath the olive tree at Bostani.
- Soirée au Théâtre antique d'Épidaure, Festival d'Athènes & Épidaure 2026 — About an hour's drive from Kranidi, the ancient theatre of Epidaurus hosts the summer chapter of the Athens & Epidaurus Festival. The 2026 programme announced on the venue's official website includes several ancient tragedies and comedies, among them The Trojan Women, Antigone, Lysistrata and Ion.
