The turnkey stay

Three days on the Rock to live the Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health as an insider: trunks set down on Place du Casino, black tie for dinner a few steps from the venue of the evening, and the following day given over to what the Principality does best — sea water, the vine and Mediterranean light. Morning at the Thermes Marins, pool drawn from 77 metres below the surface facing the open sea; a light, plant-led lunch signed by Yannick Alléno; then down into the Caves de l'Hôtel de Paris, 1,500 m² carved out in 1874 beneath the palace hotel, a glass of champagne in hand. Important caveat: as of 22 July 2026, the official date of the 2026 edition still has not been published on montecarlogala.org or fpa2.org — we are holding rooms and tables on a late-September window, adjustable the moment it is announced.

Where to stay

• Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo — The founding palace hotel of 1864, on Place du Casino, steps from the Casino and the Opéra Garnier — in other words, within heel-walking distance of the gala venue. Princesse Grace and Prince Rainier III suites, direct access to the 6,600 m² spa and pool complex and to the rooftop Wellness Sky Club, private beach. Tel. +377 98 06 30 00.
• Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo — A Belle Époque masterpiece with a glass dome designed by Gustave Eiffel, 200 metres from the Hôtel de Paris. 262 rooms and suites including 13 Diamond Suites, direct access to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo and to the Michelin-starred Pavyllon. The quieter of the two addresses, ideal for coming in late without meeting the crowd.

Where to dine

• Le Louis XV, Alain Ducasse à l'Hôtel de Paris — Three Michelin stars, the first hotel restaurant in history to win all three macarons (1990). Mediterranean cooking by Alain Ducasse and Emmanuel Pilon, pastry by Sandro Micheli, adjoining cellar among the vastest in the world. Dinner Tuesday to Saturday (19:30–21:15), lunch Friday and Saturday. Elegant dress required, jacket obligatory at dinner all year round — to be booked far ahead during a gala week.
• Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, un restaurant de Yannick Alléno (Hôtel Hermitage) — One Michelin star. Counter open onto the kitchen, plant-focused menu, seafood and lightly sweetened desserts — the exact counterpoint to the spirit of the gala. Served on the terrace of the Mediterranean garden patio with sea view in fine weather. Open daily, 12:00–14:30 and 19:00–22:30: the right option for a pre-gala lunch or a light supper afterwards.

• Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, journée spa face à la Méditerranée — 6,600 m² devoted to well-being and preventive health, connected to the Hôtel de Paris and the Hôtel Hermitage. Sea-water pool drawn from 77 m deep and 400 m offshore, cold sea-water bath, two hammams, jacuzzi, solarium, face and body treatments. Open 7 days a week from 8:00 to 20:00, 2 avenue de Monte-Carlo. • Les Caves de l'Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, visite privée et dégustation — The largest hotel cellars in the world: 1,500 m² carved out in 1874, around 350,000 bottles across 2 km of racks (Pétrus, Yquem, Lafite, Romanée-Conti, century-old vintages). Discovery Tour guided by a Chef Sommelier, glass of champagne included, €250 per person, maximum 10 people, subject to a dinner booked in one of the Resort's restaurants. Private hire possible for a cocktail or a post-gala dinner.
