How to get in

New York Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2027 (10-15 September 2026). The CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) owns and runs the Fashion Calendar and the official NYFW schedule; the flagship "NYFW: The Shows" component is associated with IMG.

No public ticketing: the shows are strictly by invitation from the houses (the front row is not for sale). Realistic press avenue: contact directly the press/PR office of the house whose show you wish to cover — NYFW no longer issues centralised media accreditation; credentials are granted by each brand. The CFDA's Fashion Calendar (fc@cfda.com, fashioncalendar.com) remains the reference for the official schedule and calendar registrations; the page nyfw.com/press provides general press information. For guest access, one must be invited directly by a house or its press office.

The turnkey stay

From 10 to 15 September 2026, Manhattan becomes the capital of style once more: the official CFDA calendar lines up some seventy Spring-Summer 2027 shows, scattered from Tribeca to the Upper East Side. The week opens with Henry Zankov's much-awaited debut at Diane von Furstenberg and closes in glory with Thom Browne, while Tommy Hilfiger makes his grand return and Ralph Lauren unveils his collection the day before. Between front rows, the city itself turns runway — all it takes is the right address book to be part of it.

Where to stay

• The Mark — At 25 East 77th Street, on the corner of Madison Avenue, this Upper East Side five-star is the unofficial headquarters of New York fashion — every year, Met Gala guests get ready here. A restaurant by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, bathrooms designed by Jacques Grange, and the only New York address on The World's 50 Best Hotels list.
• The Greenwich Hotel — The 88-room retreat co-founded by Robert De Niro, in the heart of Tribeca, a few streets from the downtown show venues. Its Shibui Spa holds a lantern-lit pool beneath a 250-year-old Japanese farmhouse frame reassembled on site, and its restaurant, Locanda Verde, bears the signature of chef Andrew Carmellini.

Where to dine

• Jungsik — At 2 Harrison Street in Tribeca, chef Jungsik Yim — named Outstanding Chef at the 2025 James Beard Awards — runs the first Korean restaurant in the United States to hold three Michelin stars, awarded in December 2024. Contemporary Korean cooking of rare precision, a few minutes' walk from the Greenwich Hotel.
• The Odeon — The French-American brasserie at 145 West Broadway, a Tribeca institution since 1980, where Andy Warhol, models and the whole fashion and publishing world have gathered for four decades. The perfect address for a late dinner after the downtown shows.

What to experience
