The 80th edition of the world's greatest film festival: twelve days of screenings, red-carpet ascents and seventh-art diplomacy on the Croisette. An anniversary edition whose official communication promises a celebration of the Festival's eight decades. The dates of the Marché du Film 2027 remain to be confirmed.
An accreditation-only event: producers, distributors, press and technicians register on festival-cannes.com (in 2026: from 2 February to 15 April, with a surcharge of 224 EUR incl. VAT after 1 April and an environmental contribution of 20 EUR excl. VAT). The red-carpet ascents are by invitation, in evening dress. Two genuine doors for the public: the '3 jours à Cannes' programme for 18-28 year olds, free upon application, and Cannes Cinéphiles for film lovers from the region.
