How to get in

The Art+Film Gala office of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, under the direction of Michael Govan, with Gucci as presenting sponsor and co-chairs Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The gala office handles individual tickets and tables on request, by email at artandfilm@lacma.org or by phone at 323 857-6000. Joining LACMA's support circles is the classic path to being able to buy a table.

The turnkey stay

On Saturday 7 November 2026, the Miracle Mile lights up: under the lampposts of Urban Light, at 5905 Wilshire Boulevard, LACMA holds its 15th Art+Film Gala, honouring artist Vija Celmins and director Denis Villeneuve. Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio return as co-chairs, with Gucci as presenting sponsor — a role the house has held since the gala began in 2011. It is one of the rare Los Angeles dinners where collectors and studios sit at the same table. Around the museum, everything is within walking distance or a few minutes by car: Museum Row, the Petersen right across the way at the corner of Wilshire and Fairfax, the tables of Melrose to the north, Beverly Hills to the west.

Where to stay

• Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills — At 300 South Doheny Drive, in Beverly Grove on the edge of Beverly Hills, about ten minutes by car from LACMA. Fourth-floor pool terrace with open-air fitness available 24/7, a 3,695-square-foot spa with eight treatment rooms (sauna, aromatherapy steam room, treatments available in a poolside cabana), and a dining offer signed by executive chef Jesus Medina: Culina Ristorante (Italian), La Ola (coastal Mexican), Culina Caffè and The Lounge. Enough to fit in a pre-gala lunch without leaving the hotel.
• Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills — The same boulevard as the museum, a few kilometres further west: 9850 Wilshire Boulevard, in Beverly Hills. Heated rooftop pool, twelve storeys above the city, in a landscaped garden reserved for residents, with VIP cabanas available for private hire and terrace service. La Prairie Spa, rated Forbes Five-Star. On the dining side, Baldi, a Tuscan steakhouse built on family recipes, and the rooftop Gemma. Where to dine

• Providence — Three Michelin stars and a Green Star for sustainability. Chef Michael Cimarusti, with guests welcomed in the dining room by his co-owner Donato Poto. Seafood cooking built on wild, sustainable produce, mostly from American waters — the house also holds a James Beard Award and first place on Jonathan Gold's "101 Best Restaurants" list. At 5955 Melrose Avenue, a few minutes' drive north of LACMA.
• Osteria Mozza — Nancy Silverton's Italian table, listed in the Michelin Guide (2026 selection). Traditional Italian techniques and Californian seasonality, an award-winning kitchen team and a renowned wine list; Monday to Thursday evenings, a five-course pasta tasting menu is served at the Amaro Bar. At 6602 Melrose Avenue, at the corner of Highland, north of the museum.

What to experience

• The Vault, presented by Hagerty, Petersen Automotive Museum — Right across from LACMA, at 6060 Wilshire Boulevard on the corner of Fairfax: the Petersen's basement holds more than 300 rare vehicles — concept cars, hot rods, vintage motorcycles, muscle cars, celebrity cars, even carriages from the tsarist era — spanning more than 120 years of automotive history. Two options: general access combined with the museum, or a premium guided tour with a docent, with limited places. Last entry to the Vault at 5 pm.
