Anna Wintour transforms the Galleria into a monumental stage: the most sought-after fashion evening of the year. A travelling show by Vogue, its first Italian edition at the heart of Milan's drawing room.

An evening show at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II on 22 September 2026 (opening day of Milano Fashion Week), livestreamed worldwide. As with previous editions (New York, London, Paris, Los Angeles), access is via Vogue ticketing — proceeds donated to a cause (here, the revitalisation of a Milan neighbourhood with the City) — and via Vogue/house invitations for the front row. No named press contact has been published to date: follow the official YesMilano page and Vogue Italia's channels for the 2026 ticketing arrangements. The turnkey stay
On 22 September 2026, opening day of Fashion Week, Vogue World comes to Italy for the first time — and chooses Milan's drawing room: the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, stretched between the Duomo and La Scala, transformed for one evening into a monumental stage. Beneath the 1867 glass dome, Anna Wintour's event celebrates the theme "Where The Future Is Made By The Hand", a dialogue between the hand of Italian artisans and the promises of artificial intelligence. We stay facing the entrance to the Galleria, dine beneath its very arcades, and take in the view from its rooftops: here, everything happens less than two hundred metres from the red carpet.
Where to stay
- Park Hyatt Milano — An 1870 palazzo in Italian travertine, standing directly opposite the entrance to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II — impossible to be closer to the Vogue World stage. Spa, Mio Lab bar and the glass dome of La Cupola; the Duomo and La Scala are 200 metres away.
- Mandarin Oriental, Milan — Four eighteenth-century palazzi on via Andegari, steps from La Scala — that is, the northern end of the Galleria, between Montenapoleone and the Duomo. A 900 m² spa with indoor pool and six treatment rooms: the ideal address for catching your breath after the show.
Where to dine
- Cracco in Galleria — Carlo Cracco's restaurant, 1 Michelin star, set since 2018 beneath the arcades of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II itself — you dine literally inside the setting of Vogue World. Contemporary Italian cooking signed with resident chef Luca Sacchi, from the open raviolo to a revisited vitello alla milanese.
- Savini Milano 1867 — The institution of the Galleria since 1867: Verdi, Puccini and Maria Callas were regulars here, and it was here that Marinetti left his Futurist Manifesto, published in Le Figaro in 1909. Since 2015, chef Mario Massa has conducted the score between Milanese tradition and modernity, a few metres from the central octagon.
What to experience
- Highline Galleria, les toits de la Galleria — A panoramic walkway running across the rooftops of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, 40 metres above the Vogue World stage, reopened to the public on 7 February 2026 after a complete restoration. Access via the panoramic lift on the Piazza della Scala side (Galleria 11/12, 6th floor), a narrative audio guide on the history of the monument and a plunging view over the Duomo — the glass dome seen from above, before finding it again from below on the evening of the 22nd.
- Visite guidée du Teatro alla Scala — At the northern end of the Galleria, La Scala opens its backstage: an official guided tour of the theatre and its museum, from the historic corridors to the royal box, among rare instruments and original scores of the great Italian operas. The perfect lyrical counterpoint to the Vogue evening.
