The 2027 edition expands: a full week, a public weekend extended to three days, and the arrival of Breitling, Universal Genève, Gallet and the jeweller Damiani among the exhibitors.
How to get in
A strictly trade-only fair from 5 to 8 April 2027 (accredited attendees only: press, retail, houses), badges collected at the accreditation desk, Entrance 1 of Palexpo. Press access: invitation from an exhibiting house or direct contact with the official press office (press@watchesandwonders.org); there is no open accreditation desk. Open to the general public from 9 to 11 April 2027, with online ticketing at watchesandwonders.com. Paid VIP option: the Premium Package (dedicated badge access, private entrance, lounge, expert-guided tour).
The fair is not a standard public ticket event: 5-8 April is reserved for accredited professionals/press only. The general public is admitted only on 9-11 April 2027, tickets sold online at watchesandwonders.com (2027 rates not yet published). For reference, the 2026 edition charged around CHF 50-70 per day, with a 3-day pass at CHF 160, plus reduced student/senior rates. For easier access on the watchmaking-house side, the official Premium Package (CHF 550/person in 2026, ages 12+) includes private entry, a VIP lounge with meals and an expert-guided tour, 2027 terms and pricing to be confirmed on the official website.
The turnkey stay
For the world's most sought-after watchmaking week, Geneva unfurls its palace hotels along the shore of Lake Geneva: suites with views of Mont Blanc, starred restaurants where new releases are discussed in intimate settings, and a lake crossed by Belle Époque steamers between manufacture appointments. A jet-set interlude between watchmaking business and the Swiss art of living, a stone's throw from Palexpo yet a world away from its bustle.
Where to stay
- Hôtel Beau-Rivage Genève : A family-run palace hotel dating from 1865 on Quai du Mont-Blanc, a historic haunt of high society and watchmaking houses during fair week. A general renovation of the hotel has been announced through the end of February 2027 (schedule subject to change): reconfirm before booking for fair week.
- Hotel President Wilson, a Luxury Collection Hotel : A 5-star address on Quai Wilson, with views of the lake and the Alps, a spa and signature suites, one of the usual VIP bases for watchmaking week.
Where to dine
- Le Chat-Botté (Hôtel Beau-Rivage) : Michelin-starred since 2010, refined French cuisine by Mathieu Croze; the establishment is under renovation with reopening announced for early 2027, to be reconfirmed before booking.
- Bayview (Hotel President Wilson) : One Michelin star, panoramic lake views and a table suspended beneath Saint-Louis crystal; French cuisine created by Michel Roth, now led by chef Danny Khezzar.
What to experience
- Croisière Belle Époque CGN sur le Léman : Board the Compagnie Générale de Navigation's historic paddle steamers, cruising between Geneva, Lausanne and the French shores of the lake.
- Musée Patek Philippe : Five centuries of watchmaking and automata in the setting of the Plainpalais district, the ideal heritage counterpoint to the fair's frenzy of new releases.
