How to attend Paris Fashion Week

Shows on the official calendar are not open to the public: each house invites by name, with the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) accrediting press and professional buyers. For the September 28 to October 6, 2026 edition, four routes exist: accredited press, registered buyers, VIC clients, and guests of the houses. No seat can be bought.

The Spring-Summer 2027 ready-to-wear edition runs from September 28 to October 6, 2026, at venues across Paris, under the aegis of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM), which organizes the official calendar. Shows are by invitation from the houses, and each house alone decides who is invited. Four routes exist. The press: FHCM accreditation is free (accreditation@fhcm.paris), but it is necessary without being sufficient; you must then secure an invitation from the press office of the house in question. Registered professional buyers are the second route. The third is that of clients, known as VICs: a lasting client relationship with a house, a single sales advisor and a purchase history open the door to invitations and the front row. The fourth covers friends of the house and public figures.

The classic trap is believing that accreditation is enough, or that a seat can be paid for. No seat at a show can be bought: it is earned through the relationship. For anyone starting from zero, the realistic path therefore runs either through a press title and an accreditation request to the FHCM, or through loyalty in boutique with one specific house. The detailed show calendar is published by the FHCM.
