What is a guest list

A guest list is the named list of invitees settled by the organizer before an event: only the names on it get through the door. It cannot be bought: you are added by invitation, or after a request approved by the organizer.

A guest list is drawn up by the organizer, its press office or its client relations team, and settled before the event: at the door, a name is checked, not a ticket. In the world this site covers, it has two constant features. First, it is name-based: at Paris Fashion Week (Spring-Summer 2027 ready-to-wear, from September 28 to October 6, 2026), each house invites by name through its press office and client relations team, and FHCM accreditation, necessary for the press, is not sufficient: each house decides its own guests. Second, it closes: for the MY Yacht Monaco party, aboard a superyacht in Port Hercule during the Monaco Yacht Show (September 23 to 26, 2026), the list closes before the show opens and late requests are no longer processed; you must introduce yourself (profile, company, reason for attending) and wait for the organizer's approval. How to get on it: either you are invited (accredited press, buyer, client, friend of the house), or you ask to be, by writing to the organizer early with a serious reason. What does not work: showing up at the door without being on the list, or trying to buy your place. The houses' rule admits no exception: no place can be bought, it is earned through the relationship.
