How to get invited to a fashion show

Two paths exist: free press accreditation from the FHCM (accreditation@fhcm.paris) followed by a request to the press office of the house in question, or VIC client status, built in boutique through a purchase history with a single sales advisor. No seat can be bought: an invitation is earned through the relationship.

The press route begins with the FHCM's free accreditation (accreditation@fhcm.paris); you must then write to the press office of the house you are targeting to request an invitation to its show, for the week of September 28 to October 6, 2026. Each house (Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Loewe, Givenchy) works through its own press office or a press relations agency; the leading Paris agencies are Karla Otto, KCD and Lucien Pagès Communication, along with the LVMH group's own press operation.

The route without a press card is that of the client. Become a client of a house, build loyalty with a single sales advisor in boutique, and express the wish to be invited: a significant purchase history qualifies you for VIC status, which opens invitations to the shows and the front row. The trap to avoid is believing that a seat can be sold: no invitation can be bought, and FHCM accreditation itself is necessary but not sufficient, since each house decides its own guests. The relationship, editorial or commercial, is the only currency that counts.
